It is fascinating to watch how quickly AI models are moving toward more advanced reasoning and broader capabilities. At times, it really feels like we are witnessing a race toward AGI. And yet, in everyday use, something curious still happens: very simple tasks are sometimes misunderstood, and the same prompt given to different AI models can produce radically different answers.
A simple example: a start-up brand in remembrance and DeathTech, Forever Connected, which offers a unique way to keep the memory of a loved one alive through a physical remembrance object linked to a digital memorial page. Their team asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok the exact same question: βIn which US state should we start our first advertising campaign?β You might expect some overlap. Instead, one model says Florida, another suggests Texas, a third recommends California, and a fourth argues for Pennsylvania. Same prompt, same business, four different answers.
That does not mean AI is not powerful. It is. But it does remind us that using AI well still requires human judgment, comparison, and critical thinking.
